How to win in the battlefield of your heart:
1. Our hearts must be SCRUTINIZED.
- Search your own heart.
- Allow God to search your heart.
- Psalm 139:23-24 (NLT) - 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
- Psalm 19:12 (NLT) - 12 How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults.
- God will test the heart to expose what is in there. The fire will expose the impurity.
- Good news: God will always test your heart before He promotes or uses you.
2. Our hearts must be SANCTIFIED.
- Once we know the condition of our hearts, we need a MIRACLE to happen.
- Ezekiel 36:26 (NLT) - 26 And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.
3. Our hearts must be SUSTAINED.
- Your heart is never weed-free. You are always one comment away from developing a diseased heart.
