I. Hebrews 13:21 ESV: "Equip you with everything good that you may do his will."

• God's "equipment" is on the INSIDE. We don't need an "outfit"; we need an "infit." We must receive teaching and development with the tools we need to accomplish the will of God and do the work of God 
(Ephesians 4:11-12).

II. Seven essential tools to do the will of God

1. Hospitality (Hebrews 13:2)

• "I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me" (Matthew 25:35-36 ESV).
• Peter said, "Show hospitality to one another without grumbling" (1 Peter 4:9 ESV). Paul said, "Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality" (Romans 12:13 ESV).

2. Compassion (Hebrews 13:3)

• "You had compassion on those in prison" (Hebrews 10:34 ESV).
• "I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me" (Matthew 25:36 ESV).

3. Purity (Hebrews 13:4 ESV)

• "Let marriage be held in honor."
• "God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous."

4. Contentment (Hebrews 13:5 ESV)

• "Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"

5. Submission (Hebrews 13:7 ESV)

• "Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith."
• "Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you" (Hebrews 13:17 ESV).

6. Praise (Hebrews 13:15 ESV)

• "Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name."

7. Generosity (Hebrews 13:16 ESV)

• "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God."
