“Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of  the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and  they prosper in all they do.” - Psalms‬ 1:1-3‬ NLT‬‬

1. Gods desires growth - “They are like trees… bearing fruit …”

1. Everything God created grows
2. Enemies of growth: 
   1. “no one wants to serve in that area…” 
   2. “you can invite them but they wont come…”
   3. “I don’t know if that person could ever be saved…”        

Let’s be “we can conquer type of leaders” and let’s be people with a “YES” in our mouth and spirit  

“For Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not waver between “Yes” and “No.” He is the one whom Silas, Timothy, and I preached to you, and as God’s  ultimate “Yes,” he always does what he says. For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our  “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.” - 2 Corinthians‬ 1:19-20‬ NLT

2. Bloom where you are planted - “in every season…”

1. Do you believe you are in the place God has you? God has called you to this! 
2. Whether you are in a good season, hard place, exhausted, financially tight season etc…but this verse says they  produce in every season 
3. Sometimes the temptation is to take a step back, take a season for yourself. “The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” - Proverbs‬ 11:25‬ NLT‬‬ 
4. Often times the way to refresh your own soul is to be blessing to someone else and bloom where you are planted   

 

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians‬ 6:9‬ NLT‬‬

3. God blesses your doing - “they prosper in all they do…”

1. Have a growth attitude - my area will grow, get better, people will get saved, etc  
2. Pray for growth - pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers  
3. Put yourself in position to grow
   1. Are you on the McCheyne plan each day? 
   2. Are you reading/listening to anything new? (You can give to others)
   3. Are you inviting others to be apart of what you are doing? 
   4. Are we stepping out in faith believing for the impossible?
