2. Luke 15:7 (NLT) In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away.

You did not learn this from any human being. 18 Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. 
2. If you travel the world, you feel how lost it is. 
3. Jesus is the hope of the world, and he’s chosen the church as his instrument of hope. 
   1. Our gathering is ENCOURAGING.
   2. Our gathering is DIRECTING.
   3. Our gathering is WAR.

3. He is still using passionate people.

1. Acts 9:11-12 (NLT) 11 The Lord said, “Go over to Straight Street, to the house of Judas. When you get there, ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. He is praying to me right now. 12 I have shown him a vision of a man named Ananias coming in and laying hands on him so he can see again.”
2. Acts 9:15 (NLT) But the Lord said, “Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel.
3. Our devotion:
   1. The kingdom must be your first priority.
   2. The harvest is like a real harvest; it ruins if not brought in. 
   3. Our first pursuit is the Lord, then the work he’s called us to.
