Psalm 145:4-7 (NLT) - 4 Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. 5 I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles. 6 Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness. 7 Everyone will share the story of your wonderful goodness; they will sing with joy about your righteousness.

Three categories of miracles that God wants to do for us:

1. Miraculous PROVISION

Psalm 23:1 (NLT) - 1 The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.

2 Corinthians 9:8 (NLT) - 8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

Philippians 4:19 (NLT) - 19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

2. Miraculous PROTECTION

Psalm 121:5-8 (NLT) - 5 The Lord himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. 6 The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. 7 The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. 8 The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

3. Miraculous HEALING

Acts 3:4-8 (NLT) - 4 Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, "Look at us!" 5 The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. 6 But Peter said, "I don’t have any silver or gold for you. But I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!" 7 Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man’s feet and ankles were instantly healed and strengthened. 8 He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple

How to receive a miracle:

  • Ask for it - Matthew 21:22 (NASB95) - 22 "And all things you ask in prayer, believing"
  • Believe for it - James 1:6 (ESV) - 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
  • Trust God - Isaiah 12:2 (NLT) - 2 See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory."
