The Lord Is with Us: He Will Provide

A word from God is so valuable.

• When you’re in a crisis-seek a word.
• When you need wisdom-seek a word.

God gave me a word to stand on: THE LORD IS WITH US.

• If He were not with us, we would have reason to fear, but because He is with us, everything is okay.
• Jesus said, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20 NLT).

Three lessons Israel learned about God the provider:

1. MANNA from HEAVEN-God is our SOURCE.

• Manna came from above.
• Quail came from above.
• Man is not your source in these moments, so there is no need to fear.

2. WATER from a ROCK-God transforms NATURAL things to make SUPERNATURAL provision.

• Oral Roberts said that God doesn’t print money in heaven, but He can cause money to come to you.
  • Jesus got a coin from a fish.
  • Jesus multiplied bread.
  • Elisha told the widow to find oil and pour it out.
• When the provision shows up, it may look natural, but don’t forget there is a SUPERNATURAL source behind it.

3. SEED to the SOWER-God wants to provide SEED to SOWERS.

• 2 Corinthians 9:10 NLT: “For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.”
• When they were leaving Egypt, they became wealthy.
• What good was all of that wealth in the desert with nowhere to buy anything?
• God wanted them to use it to be a blessing.
  • Some used it as an idol.
  • Some used it as a tabernacle.
• God will provide seed to the sower during this time.
