Isaiah 55:10–11 (NLT) — 10 “The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. 11 It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

1. God’s Word is Seed

1. Understand the power of His Word.
   1. Every Word of God Contains His DNA.
      1. It has the power to produce in us the image of Christ because it carries the full DNA of Christ.
      2. 1 Peter 1:23 (ESV) — 23 Since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God.
   2. His Word comes as a seed but produces a GIANT harvest.
2. Receiving the Word
   1. James 1:21 (ESV) — 21 Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
   2. You must open your heart and receive that implanted seed.
