Year of Miracles

A message from Pastors Jonathan & Angie Stockstill

I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the incredible year we’ve had together.

  • We set out this year to remain faithful and focused, and I’m so proud of you for sticking to that commitment. You’ve remained steadfast in your faith and dedicated yourself to the Great Commission.

As we close the book on this year and welcome a fresh start, there is a phrase that's burning in my heart, and I want to share it with you all: "Believing for a Miracle."

This year, we’re going to make it our mantra. Everyone who has put their faith in Jesus knows what it means to believe, but often, Christians focus on believing for salvation yet shy away from believing God for miracles in their everyday lives. God wants to be involved, to intervene, and to disrupt our daily routines with His power—but we have to believe Him for it. I’m so excited about where we are as a church. By God’s grace, next month we’ll officially launch our tenth campus! Can you believe it? God has done it all; we’ve just partnered with Him to make it happen. I believe He wants to continue to build the house as we trust Him. We have a huge vision in front of us: building projects, mission efforts, local outreach, and more. By His grace—and His miracles—we’ll see it all come to pass.

So, corporately, I’m saying, "I'm Believing for a Miracle."

But this also impacts our personal lives in a big way. God wants us to believe Him for miracles in our businesses, jobs, families, relationships, health, and finances. He can do miracles in every aspect of our lives. Will you make this a focus for your year? Will you believe with me for miracles? Ask God for big things. Think of what’s impossible without Him and ask Him for it. Don’t just ask once—persist in your asking. Let’s see God do miracle upon miracle. I’m also asking you to share your stories! If God does something amazing for you, don’t keep it to yourself. Tell the family of God so we can celebrate with you and build each other’s faith.

"Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think." ~ Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)

As we start this new year, what’s one miracle you’re asking God for? Let us pray with you and celebrate when it comes to pass.

    Celebrations from this year:

    • Ascension Parish Campus launched and is now averaging 225 people each weekend.
    • Bethany Music ministered in Africa and Brazil.
    • “Build Your Church” campaign reached $2 million in donations.
    • Bethany Mobile officially joined the family.
    • Bethany Hammond Campus is preparing for launch.
    • Our All Access Conference and Bold X were major successes.
    • We commissioned over a dozen new Campus Elders—and much more!

Angie and I love you deeply, and we’re so excited to serve Bethany Church again this year. Let’s believe for miracles—together!

    Your Pastors,
    Jonathan and Angie Stockstill
