Bgroup Lesson Part 4 of 4
Would you rather be an Olympic gold medalist or an astronaut?
Just like the young boy with only a few loaves of bread and some fish, you and I may be the answer to someone's need. As we bring our meager offering to Jesus, He is the one who takes what we have and multiplies it.
Key Scripture: John 6:8–13
The need that day was quite vast, but Jesus' first command was simply to have the crowd sit down. We must be willing to see the needs of others and bring them to the feet of Jesus.
Jesus took the simple offering of a young boy and multiplied it. Never underestimate the power of God to multiply your simple offering.
Acts 17:25b says Jesus satisfies the need. We cannot outgive God. When Jesus fed the five thousand, the need was not only satisfied, but he provided more than enough. When you are willing to step out in faith to meet the needs of others, God's provision for you and for that person will be more than you could ever imagine.
Maybe you have been carrying someone else's burden and yet have no idea how to respond. Take this week as an opportunity to bring this burden to Jesus. Then get ready to testify!
